it’s nice that’s its short and the clear and being the rookie detective really makes it feel immersive and like you are directly training to be a crime solver!
I wasn’t expecting much from a five-minute story, but I genuinely enjoyed it. The puzzles weren’t too easy and still offered a bit of challenge, which is especially nice for such a short experience. I’d definitely want to play more.
This one wasn’t really my jam. I think the appeal of a detective story is to gather clues and sometimes be misled to eventually get the rush of solving a difficult case.
These cases are extremely small and easy. As a detective, you aren’t even present at the crime scene. Your AI shows you a picture of a murder victim and shares details based on which you have to answer questions, and that’s it, the case is solved.
The answers are rather obvious, especially in the first case, but I managed to get it wrong because I got distracted when a crucial detail was presented. However, if you hear that detail, there is no way you wouldn’t solve the case.
Maybe there is an audience for this kind of thing, like if you want a really short and easy puzzle to occupy your brain for a moment and be done with it.
Very intriguing start as a detective. You get to solve the cases, while helped by an AI. This short story gives a good look into what the full version will be like. Your choices feel very important, as solving a crime correctly impacts the proper suspect being arrested, and to achieve that listening to every detail is crutial, making one very immersed in the story.
As a fan of crime fiction, I really enjoyed this story. Short but compelling, it gives a taste of what the full version promises. You’re in charge of solving the murder, and your choices directly impact catching the right person. From observing the crime scene to picking up on subtle crime-related details, the interactivity makes you feel like you’re truly part of the investigation. I’m looking forward to playing the full version.
