My internship at EarReality was an incredibly rewarding experience. I got to collaborate with creative people from all around the world and gain new insights on the craft of branching narratives using TWIST Engine. These three months went by quickly and I significantly improved my writing skills in its course. 10/10 would recommend!

Intern - Narrative Design

This internship was an incredible opportunity to learn about interactive storytelling by actually creating my own game-like story. I had an amazing mentor who guided me every step of the way. The TWIST Engine is easy to use and fun, allowing you to give free rein to your imagination and create any story you want. And, since the program was online, it gave me the flexibility to write and create. I highly recommend the internship to anyone who wants hands-on experience in narrative design.

The EarReality internship program was a unique opportunity to gain professional training in narrative design and insight into the world of interactive audio storytelling. I received excellent feedback on my work, as well as practical experience with the iterative writing process, through close collaboration with my story coach. The program also provided ample opportunities to network with fellow interns and give each other valuable peer feedback on our projects. I am also grateful for the frequent talks from distinguished narrative designers.

Thanks to the internship program of EarReality, I was able to hone my writing skills in a professional environment, receive feedback from experienced narrative designers and network with fellow newcomers to the industry, allowing me to connect with the future of storytelling. A friendly work environment and flexible hours made for a very pleasant experience and working with the Twist Engine provided an easy and intuitive way to practice narrative design. I am very grateful for every day I worked here.

My 3 month internship at EarReality helped me both in terms of fleshing out my existing skills, while also achieving new ones in the field of interactive storywriting, thanks to excellent coaching, while in addition giving me the opportunity to expand my portfolio. I can now confidently say, that I am in a much better position, then I was before the internship.

Sebastian Thomas Weigand

Intern - Narrative Design

The work environment at EarReality was nothing but supportive throughout my internship. I was given the opportunity to develop a diverse skillset, from working on sound effects to writing my own interactive stories. But I think most importantly, it taught me how to work professionally in teams, forced to organize your own schedule due to the online format. I don't regret applying at all!
