The outbreak began quietly, masked as an illness whispered about on the news, dismissed as another seasonal flu. But in days, your home became a quarantine zone. Streets once filled with laughter now echo with screams, and neighbours become threats. With Eric, your childhood best friend, you must fight to survive, forging alliances, making impossible choices, and deciding who to trust. Your goal is simple: make it in one piece to the forest bunker that your father told you about.
Every path is dangerous, and every choice shapes your future. Will you find the safety you seek or endure the outbreak at an unknown price?

Started off quite normally, I thought I was expecting the outcome, and I was pleasantly surprised about how this story turned out (given my choices obviously). Really enjoyed it!
Okay getting the pun out of the way in the title it’s a good story. I like how the choices felt like they mattered, such as when picking between kicking Arlo out or letting him stay. The writing was also smooth and overall didn’t have any problems with it, nor with the voice acting. All in all it’s an excellent story and one I think people should read!
I think this game does well in terms of replayability. Not knowing whether the choice to send away teammates is quite immersive, as there would be no way to know irl. I liked that because of this, I could play again and see what could have been. Would love to see more of this genre
This game didn’t captivate me too much. I’m not sure if I made the right choices and what would have been different had I chosen other options. I think it would be good to know if sending one of the companions away because of the bite was the right decision. The ending felt kind of unsatisfying. The tense was inconsistent throughout the story (mostly present, then past for a short while, then present again). It’s not a bad story, but there is room for improvement.
I really enjoyed this game! It’s very immersive and the story unfolds at an engaging pace. Looking forward to seeing more work in this genre!
