The outbreak began quietly, masked as an illness whispered about on the news, dismissed as another seasonal flu. But in days, your home became a quarantine zone. Streets once filled with laughter now echo with screams, and neighbours become threats. With Eric, your childhood best friend, you must fight to survive, forging alliances, making impossible choices, and deciding who to trust. Your goal is simple: make it in one piece to the forest bunker that your father told you about.
Every path is dangerous, and every choice shapes your future. Will you find the safety you seek or endure the outbreak at an unknown price?

I really enjoyed this story! I liked how quickly this story pulled me in, and I was genuinely curious to see where everything was going. There were definitely moments that had me wanting to keep reading just to find out what happened next. Overall, it was a fun story with plenty to keep me interested, and I’m glad I gave it a chance.
Outbreak is a grim tale about survival and people. You are thrust into the action right away, watching a zombie take a chunk out of someone. It sets the tone: this is going to be dark.
Themes of friendship remain while you explore this unforgiving setting. You make choices the affect the fates of the other characters. Some people die, others are sent away to fend for themselves. Trust is difficult to have when anyone would lie to save themselves.
This story was alive. I felt like I was there, making hard decisions and feeling both the dread and heartbreak of the plot. I was completely immersed in the tale. I would suggest this interactive audio story to anyone who enjoys darker themes and apocalyptic settings where death is just around the corner.
The story and choices were engaging and helped move the narrative along at a good pace. While there were a couple of minor wording issues, they didn’t take away from the overall experience. The story was well written, and the choices felt meaningful and fit naturally with the progression of the game.
Started off quite normally, I thought I was expecting the outcome, and I was pleasantly surprised about how this story turned out (given my choices obviously). Really enjoyed it!
Okay getting the pun out of the way in the title it’s a good story. I like how the choices felt like they mattered, such as when picking between kicking Arlo out or letting him stay. The writing was also smooth and overall didn’t have any problems with it, nor with the voice acting. All in all it’s an excellent story and one I think people should read!
