Yes, there is a ghost under the stairs, but it’s usually asleep. Just make sure you don’t step on the creaky step. You don’t want to wake the sleeping ghost.

If you like ghosts, you’ll love this story. Children who like to solve puzzles and discover new things are in the right place here.

Discover the ghost and find out how you can get rid of it! Talk to the animals, work together with your family and don’t let the ghost scare you away.

When tidying your room, on the way to school or in the car – whenever you want to give yourself a little fright.

Fun tale to appeal to kids. The scare level is age appropriate and the characters and choices are fun.
It’s hard to rate a story for children, but imagining myself as a kid, I think I would enjoy it. I liked that the story included elements where the narrator directly interacted with the listener, asking them if they were brave in the beginning to prepare them for the scary elements or agreeing with their choices.
The relationship between Penny and her parents was portrayed nicely, and I liked that the adults could see and hear the ghost, too, so Penny wasn’t alone in it.
Their way of making the ghost to stop scaring them was pretty fun, and the ending was heartwarming.
I listened to this story on a heavy day, and even though it’s a horror story, it’s clearly aimed at children, so it’s more of a gentle, not-too-scary kind of horror. I stayed for the story, and it was a really enjoyable listen. I liked the voice actress; her narration was clear and easy to follow. Overall, it’s definitely a great story for young children.
I really enjoyed the passion the voice actor brought to the story. It’s a very cute halloween story for children.
I found the story very nice and cute and very well suited for children. But I still think it would benefit from more flavored choices and divers endings.
