Interesting murder mystery story with a lot of choices.
The voice actor managed to capture the ambiance of the story. It is cool to have an audio game with a blind man as the protagonist. It makes the story more relatable to users with blindness. However, the story seems a bit too simple. The detective has absolute trust in the protagonist yet this makes narrative appear unrealistic. It would be more interesting if the detective or the police had doubts about some of the protagonist’s decisions, which could add complexity to the story. It is strange that the police trusts a singular person’s opinion on the murder. But this is just what I would like to see. The game is indeed mostly focused on keeping the audience engaged and entertained, which is done successfully. Some mysterious background music or sound effects would be a good addition to show that the protagonist mostly relies on his hearing or tactility. An overall good story with a lot of potential to grow into a larger project. I wish for the story to have more depth and detail.
This story is exactly my style. We play as a blind detective trying to solve a murder case, and we have a partner by our side. I really enjoyed the dialogue between the main character and the partner, as well as the questions we ask the suspects. What stood out to me the most was how well the character’s heightened senses were described due to his blindness. Personally, I felt truly immersed in the role while making dialogue choices. I’m definitely looking forward to Part 2 ,it’s a really well crafted theme.
In “Dublin Mysteries”, players are faced with a real challenge: solving a case that requires both brains and detective instinct! It’s incredibly fun to take on the role of a blind investigator, tracking down clues and following leads to uncover the truth behind the victim’s death. The story could have been a bit longer – cracking the case is anything but easy!
I really enjoyed playing Dublin Mysteries. The concept of a blind detective solving a possible murder using only sound is incredibly fitting for an interactive audiobook. It immediately pulled me into the story.
The voice acting was great, and I loved how the decisions were tied to actual clue hunting. I had to think logically about what to investigate, which made it feel like a real detective game. The pacing kept me engaged, and I ended up replaying it multiple times to try different outcomes.
Overall, it’s a smart, immersive mystery that uses the audio format in a really effective way. Looking forward to future episodes!
I could feel the emotions and atmosphere of the story on my skin. The experience with audio games is completely new to me and sometimes I find myself reading more than listening. I’m learning a lot and enjoying this way of playing more and more.
